About this deal

Explore step-by-step methods that you can adapt and sustain for your own needs so you can live better with less. The reason I wanted a Kindle version is because I found this a much better way to avoid book clutter and be better for the environment (and trust me I absolutely adore hardcopy books so this was a huge step for me in the first place). By completing your purchase, you agree to Audible's Conditions of Use and authorise Audible to charge your designated card or any other card on file. However, dust also contains other nasty components, including pet dander, dust mites, dust mite droppings, mould and bacteria. Although I already class myself as being pretty tidy I found this book to be full of tips and ideas to be even more organised.

Packed with practical solutions, advice and techniques, this book will teach you how to declutter your home, simplify your living space, and find a more organised and peaceful life. I find Dilly comes across as very down to earth, the advice is practical, she knows the majority of us don't live in 10 bedroom houses with hired help every day and so her advice is very achievable! At one time, I lived with my mother, husband and two messy teenage boys and all the advice would probably have been great. I have been decluttering my home for a while now taking room by room and I have (still) too many books. Exactly what Dilly talks about in this book - being able to enjoy spaces more because they are no longer cluttered or stressful. When her mum was diagnosed with Bi-polar, Dilly realised that decluttering your living space helped to have a clear mind. I was hoping for something a little more concrete than 'have a vision for your bedroom and do not stop until you get there'. The average family home contains thousands of items that are not really needed, and living in all the clutter is making us miserable. I have to continuously zoom in and out with every page and it is just not enjoyable to read the book in that way. I was in a very fortunate position to be able to tap in and have my choice of the multiple resources out there as a ‘go to’ in my declutter journey.

I started off with the lovely Japanese lady and realised that thanking my socks was a step too far, although some of her ideas were very useful.
